Operation Pillow Hugs

This fun creative project can be done from home or school, and our troops and hospitalized vets love these. Just grab some pillowcases and fabric markers and share some hugs from far to lift spirits!

Consider doing this with your class, sports club, service club or even at your place of faith. We love it whatever age helps us and even have some amazing artists on Cape Cod who help us every year!

Great holiday or summer project for students too! We are collecting them now through December 3rd for our hospitalized, deployed and homeless veterans.

We also made them for students from Uvalde and Parkland after the tragic mass shootings. Students and citizens from all over the nation decorated pillowcases to remind them they were not alone. This is a great project for any age!

Operation Healing Angel

Ever wondered how you can write cards and send support to wounded and hospitalized veterans? Operation Healing Angel began when a medic wrote us wondering if we could send support to the medical staff heroes too. Now we support key Veterans’ Hospitals worldwide with volunteers ages 2 -102 and never forget the medical staff who need hugs and thanks too. Operation Healing Angel needs help all year long so check this mission out.

Adoptions

Support active-duty service members, veterans, and their families or find out how to get adopted yourself and wrapped in support while deployed. Homefront Hero Hugs began right after 9/11, almost 23 years ago to unite our country and support troops deploying overseas and their brave families on the homefront. We left the politics at the door and remembered we are all Americans first.
